Council of Ministers – Approval of the Royal Decree for the creation of the Independent Authority for the Protection of Whistleblowers.

The Council of Ministers approved, in its meeting on October 29, 2024, the Royal Decree for the creation of the Independent Authority for the Protection of Whistleblowers. It is expected that this Royal Decree will be published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) in the coming days.

We remind you that Article 8 of Law 2/2023 sets a 10-day period for the notification of the appointment of the Head of the System to the Independent Authority for the Protection of Whistleblowers. Therefore, we recommend that entities subject to this Law pay attention to the publication of this Royal Decree in the coming days.
